No. New Venture Theatre is a production company who operates out of numerous venues around the city. We rent Independence Park Theatre for most of our main stage productions.
How do I buy tickets?
Online — Click the "Buy Tickets" link on the show details page of the production you would like to see.
Phone — You may purchase tickets by calling the box office at 225-216-0660.
Box Office — The box office opens 90-min before the doors open for any show.
You can purchase advance tickets at the box office. Independence Park Theatre box office is open Tues-Fri from 10am -5pm. They accept Visa, MasterCard and Discover.
How do I purchase accessible seating?
For accessible seating at New Venture Theatre please arrive at the event 20 minutes prior to the scheduled time of opening doors. If you are unable to arrive at that time or have specific seating requirements, contact the IPT box office at 225-216-0660 or our main line at 225-588-7576 prior to the event.
What happens if my event is cancelled or postponed?
If an event is canceled then the patron will be refund their purchase. If an event is postponed then all clients will be offered the option to have their ticket refunded or switched to the new performance time. If you purchased your tickets through the box office, please contact them to receive a refund or exchange for a postponed or cancelled event.
